Master Sitarist

Son of the late Indian composer and Indo-Jazz Fusions founder John Mayer, Jonathan studied sitar from Clem Alford (the first ever European sitar player), Pandit Subroto Roy Chowdhury of Senia Gharana and Ustad Wajahat Khan (direct descendent of Mia Tansen the great musician, one of the nine jewels in Moghul court of Emperor Akbar).

Jonathan studied composition at The Birmingham Conservatoire of Music under Andrew Downes and his father John Mayer. Through his career he has written for a multitude of genres and ensembles including – full symphonic orchestra, brass quintet, choral quartet, jazz ensemble, guitar & violin. His works have been featured on BBC world service and ITV and his compositions on The Teak Project have received rave reviews. Recently Jonathan’s composition can be heard on the CD entitled ‘Mantra’ performed by The Orlando Consort.

Jonathan is one of the most versatile sitarists in the world, having studied both Indian & Western music. From these traditions he has created a unique creativity towards the sitar, seeing it as a instrument and not a genre. His ability to read & compose western notation has enabled him to work on many collaborations and the wide range of artists Jonathan has worked with reflects the diversity in his playing:

Sir Paul McCartney, Future Sound of London, BBC Concert Orchestra, Bombay Dub Orchestra, Sarah Brightman,Joji Hattori, The Bingham String Quartet, Kathryn Tickell, Kumar Bose, Kavita Krishnamutri, Kuljit Bhamra, Erich Gruenburg, Rohan De Saram, Kenny Wheeler, The Orlando Consort, John Wilson, I Musici Fiamminghi Orchestra.

Jonathan has worked in most genres both live and in the studio including rock, pop, British folk, Bulgarian folk, plain chant, renaissance, baroque, western contempory, jazz, jazz fusion, Hindustani classical, funk & dance. One of his main attributes is having an electric sitar which gives more flexibility in the dynamic sound world of popular music. In collaboration with SPNM, Kuljit Bhamra, The BBC Concert Orchestra, Jonathan will be performing original compositions. The brief is to write an orchestral piece while keeping the integrity of ‘Rag’.

Man Like I

Theo Bard feels that his best way to communicate with the world is through music. Inspired by the stories found in traditional folk, he sets razor-sharp lyrics to a stripped-down acoustic guitar, allowing his words to speak for themselves. His musical journey started at the age of just 4, when Theo began learning violin. He is thankful for such early experiences. “Learning violin makes you humble,” he says. “There are just a handful of people in the world who have truly mastered the instrument. You learn to work hard, and always demand better from yourself. It’s all about discipline.” Perhaps this explains his prolific songwriting record, and dedication to his adopted instrument, the guitar. His time spent learning violin might also have contributed to his ear for a catchy tune.

“For me, songwriting is more about poetry than music.” He says. “Sometimes, I get an idea for a song which is just a concept. It might be a love song or a political one but the key is to make sure it’s really strong. I always think simple is best, because I want to be understood. At other times, it might be a few of the lyrics that determine what the song is about.”

In 2008, Theo saw reggae star Natty in a crowd at Secret Garden Party. “I immediately ran to get my guitar and approached him. I’d been onto his music for about a year and loved his bittersweet sound and lyrics. He’s got a great voice as well.” After a quick introduction, Theo asked if he could play Natty a song. “He was really open to it, which surprised me, so I played him “Listen”, then and there, and he immediately asked me to play another one. I couldn’t believe it when he asked me to play at his album launch, after I’d met him 10 minutes before!” Since then Theo has played Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Vortex Tour East, The Roundhouse and The Union Chapel.

He is equally at home in the world of folk. Well versed in the British tradition, Theo has performed with rising Scottish folk star John Langan, London’s Cut A Shine and regularly at The Magpie’s Nest folk club, who put him on the bill at Camden’s Roundhouse. “I’ve been learning folk songs since I was six,” explains Bard, “and have always loved the way the lines naturally lodge in your head, making the words easy to remember. It’s content. Content is the key” he gushes. “All I want to do is communicate. If you listen to a song of mine and at the end you’ve learnt about how I see the world, or how I feel about something, then I’m a happy man. I might even make you feel something similar too.”

Theo is the lead singer and songwriter in Brothers Bab, an 8-piece he started two years ago, pulling together ska, calypso, gypsy and reggae styles. It’s a fruity blend that few can resist. Regulars on the festival circuit, Brothers Bab marked the start of 2009 with their first release, “Freshly Squeezed.”

“I just wanted to put a smile on people’s faces” he says, “and maybe make them sweat a little. When I play solo, I communicate through my lyrics, but with dance music it’s totally different. The only way to put the music across is with your body. You have to fling yourself around. You’re like a singer, actor, dancer and MC rolled into one.”

As for the future, Bard is dedicated to developing on all fronts. “I’ve got so many songs now, enough for at least a couple of albums, and I can’t wait to get them all recorded.” It looks like he might not have to wait too long.

Theo is signed to brand new label Tape Records, and will release a second EP and debut album with them in 2009.

Synesthesiastic IDM/Glitch Ambience

Prafix Aztech aka Carlo Størup was born in January of 1983 in the Denmark countryside.

His interest in the arts and music emerged at a very young age, first painting, then making music. Prafix is drawn to dark, complex sounds. He has unique methods; finding a spot on the map, starting in harsh noize underground, and then IDM / braindance in the late 90’s, releasing on underground labels in Denmark and Europe.

Prafix Aztech is currently working a hybrid between minimal and IDM/Glitch with a healthy mix of ambience. He is open for new experiments, nothing is too wild or crazy to capture and create, like wild animals running around inside his head, just waiting for his lasso.

Besides creating music and sound art Prafix Aztech is a performance artist, installation artist, painter, and filmmaker. He has a clothing line called High-Quality Grandmother, currently on sale at www.artrebels.com

Prafix Aztech has a condition called synesthesia, which mixes sound and vision, so a part of sound becomes an image, or a whole scene of moving images, and the other way around. Thus the main inspiration for Prafix Aztech is the collapsing of patterns, the creation of spaces, small worlds in their own world, chaos, and offbeat comic.

Virgil Howe began playing, writing and recording music in his early teens. His father, guitar legend Steve Howe, inspired him to follow in his footsteps, from the piano to the drums, to djing and producing. Taking in early influences like Vangelis and Jimi Hendrix, djing on pirate radio at the birth of Jungle and breaking drum sticks with Little Barrie at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2008.

After releasing a ‘Yes Remix’ album (Rhino/Elektra 2003), Virgil found a home at Scenario Records, under the name Sparo. There he released several 7″ singles, including ‘I Would’ featuring Karime Kendra, who would later join his super-heavy funk band ‘The Killer Meters’.

Along with ‘The Killer Meters, Tribute to the Meters’ album (2004), a critically acclaimed mix cd entitled ‘Sparoworlds’, additional remix duties for The Nextmen and a couple of club, smash-up bootlegs thrown in for good measure, Virgil built a name on the UK underground scene as Sparo, with write-ups in Dazed, IDJ, Wire, Hip Hop Connection and DJ magazines. His last release using the Sparo moniker, ‘The Falling’ (3BARFIRE, 2007), was a lush, down-tempo delight which caught the ear of Judge Jules, who included it on his Radio 1 show and Joe Ransom on Kiss Fm.

Having written and recorded scores for several small independent films, toured the UK creating live sound-scapes on stage using only two turntables for the Box Clever Theatre Company and playing drums for Bryan Ferry, The Pet Shop Boys, Little Barrie, The Dirty Feel, The Killer Meters, Shawn Lee and Future Sound Of London, Virgil Howe is well and truly forging his own path.

Joe and Will met in 2005, both coming from very different musical backgrounds. Joe was releasing drum and bass 12” records while Will came from the hard house and trance scenes. Their name describes their relentless passion to constantly explore genres of music, and represent their different influences within their own characteristic sound that they have become so well known for.

They started collaborating in 2007, and almost immediately drew attention from local DJs at respected nights such as Trash, as well as club promoters and indie labels. Their residencies at underground club nights soon moved into playing at some of the hottest nights in London; Matter, Trailer Trash, Durrr, Club NME, Boombox, Scala, Ministry of Sound, the Egg to name a few, as well as gigs across the UK, Berlin, Florence, Milan, Budapest, Bucharest, Lille, and Ghent..

Meanwhile their productions have been equally well received. Coming across with dirt and cutting edge production and an eye firmly on the dance floor, but also with effortless musicality not normally associated with techno, they win over fans from the band/ indie scene, as easily as diehard clubbers. They inject tonality and musical flow into everything they touch, all under the banner of techno or electro or whatever you would like to call it, and have been compared to SoulWax, Chemical Brothers, DIM and Popof.

The duo signed to Andrew Friendly’s Gulp Communications in 2008, and have released three EPs worth of material, appearing in the Cool Cuts Chart, and bringing a wide fanbase to themselves including Brodinski, Kris Menace, Vicarious Bliss, Casper C, Acid Jacks, AutoKratz, Dark Globe, Jody Wisternoff, Cazals, Matik, Virgin Tears to name a few. They went on to remix a wide array of artists, from the highly blogged Mystery Jets remix, to La Roux on Kitsune/Polydor, Revolver (EMI), The Bell, Jupiters Heroes, Acid Girls, Revolver, Franz & Shape, Division Kent (Sony), Circuit Freq, Milke and Atomizer. There are many other remixes in progress for the likes of Ministry of Sound, and EMI’s new priority band ‘Hockey.

The Abassi All Stars is a collective of musicians based around Neil Perch’s Zion Train recording studio in Cologne. The project is co-ordinated by Neil and has been released on his Deep Root and Universal Egg labels. The current participants are Neil Perch, Dave Hake (trumpet), Bigga (trombone), vocalists Fitta Warri (Jamaica), Junior Kigwa (Rwanda). Dubdadda (UK), Sis Sanae (Japan), Kenny Knots (UK), Empress Rasheda (UK), Earl 16 (Jamaica), and Luciano (Jamaica).

Fitta Warri is a Bobo chanter in the style of many current Jamaican artists but Fitta has one outstanding facet that the others do not – he speaks a message of oneness and love for the whole world – not just a selected few and he speaks it with wisdom and vision.
Born in St D’Acre, Jamaica and currently out of Franklyn Town, Kingston, Jamaica; Fitta has been a songwriter since the tender age of 14 and recorded his first release ‘Them Too Haunted’ on the Addiction rhythm for Rolling Records at the Marley’s Tuff Gong studio.

The Dubdadda, or Jono as he is known throughout the reggae world, is one of the mainstays of the UK reggae scene. Dubdadda has been working with Zion Train in the studio, as an integral part of the new live show and as the main mc on Zion Train Sound System sessions.

Sis Sanae is an up and coming roots artist from Yokohama, Japan. She has two releases on the Deep Root imprint ‘ Sufferin’ and ‘Free Jah Children’, both produced by perch in the Zion Train studio. Sanae has also recorded for the Mighty Massa production outfit in Japan.

Neil Perch is the founder member of Zion Train Sound system and the owner and administrator of the Universal Egg and Deep Root record & publishing labels. He also owns and runs the Abassi Hi Power sound system. Remix, Production and writing credits include: Gentleman, UB40 (‘Homegrown’ album 2003), Luciano, Beenie Man, Jack Radics, Gregory Isaacs, Alton Ellis, Markus Stockhausen, Robert Miles.
Neil has also contributed six songs to the soundtrack of Antonio Boccola’s film – ‘Fame Chimica’. He has been performing worldwide for over 12 years, blowing some minds and pumping up the Bass in Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, USA, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Zambia, Italy, Eire, Holland, Belgium, Japan, Serbia and the UK

Neil plays as dubmaster and electronics controller in both the Zion Train band and sound system shows, he djs dub and roots both with and without the amazing Abassi Hi Power sound system.

Original Roots Dub / Dance

Zion Train are Dub/Dance pioneers and have been undisputed leaders in the genre for more than 15 years. The band have been heavily involved in alternative and DIY underground culture since the 90s as well as being purveyors of the finest Roots Reggae music throughout this period. They are one of the finest live dub acts in the world and promoted the practice of dynamic onstage dub mixing which they perform alongside acoustic instruments and the best live vocalists.

Zion Train was founded by Perch (live dub mixing/production), in 1990 and he was later joined by Cod (melodica/production), Tench (production), Molara (voice), Hake (trumpet), and Forkbeard (trombone). Between 2001 and 2005 Dubdadda added extra live vocals and Bigga replaced Forkbeard on trombone in 2001. The live line-up has always been very flexible, varying from Perch and a vocalist for sound-system gigs, to the full lineup for larger events. From 2006 Molara concentrated on her solo projects and Zion Train live features a variety of renowned vocalists including Dubdadda and Earl 16 alongside Marlene Johnoson, and YT.

Zion Train have been one of the planet’s most prolific groups, along with a mammoth recorded output and innumerable production credits, remixes and song writing collaborations they have produced magazines, CD-ROMs, Internet sites and built sound systems. Their early releases were on their own Universal Egg label, until in 1995 they signed to China Records. They released the world’s first promotional dub music video for the ‘Get Ready’ single and caused a furore with the publicity campaign for their ‘Homegrown Fantasy’ album.

Back on their own Universal Egg label since 1999, they have continued to release quality dub, electronica and world dance music. Their work from the past decade and a half still sounds fresh to today’s discerning ears.

2005 saw the reissue of the bands seminal and long unavailable first and second albums; ‘A Passage To Indica’ and ‘Natural Wonders Of The World In Dub’ remastered and redesigned. 2006 saw the re-release of the third album ‘Siren’, which was thought by many to herald the birth of the dub-dance vibe that swept the globe in the 1990s. A new album entitled ‘Live As One’ was released in September 2007 to great critical acclaim and was showcased in a 20 nation world tour. A ‘Live As One’ remix album is the next project that the train are embarking upon – watch this space.

This Berlin based composer operates in a broad creative playground. Beyond Defined Species – the free exposure in experimenting with sound and structure is nearly similar to the path he goes.

Like life is – it was simply a game console when Ecut started producing over ten years ago. Beside of percussion and turntable sets an autarkic working sound was grown. The using of analog and digital sources as well as deeper assimilated vibes are shading colours between black and white.

Just as diverse is the collaboration base he has attracted from all around the world – with names like Film Academy Vienna, Smovement Berlin, Apjiw (Can), Die Linde Berlin, Antonio de Bragga (Can), N-tje (Ger), Imago Meccano (It) and other in his portfolio.

If there is a background then its drawn from life – his music describes stories of different views and tight suggestions – even more a mirror of the phantasmagorium.

Sharps began making music as a child by experimenting with cheap keyboards, casette tape and broken machines. Today his music has evolved into a hitech bass music for size large sound systems. His productions are driven by the need for massive tracks that rock dance floors and push the boundaries of genre and style.

Having cut his teeth early on listening to the adventurous music of Aphex Twin and Autechre, Sharps learned the value of doing things differently, yet recognizes the excitement and energy that comes when people gather together to wash their souls in bass. Sharps draws his influences from many facets, but counts the glitch sound, dubstep, miami bass, breakbeat and random dance music among his top sources of inspiration.

Although he is at the beginning of his journey through dance music, his productions have already caught the attention from top artists and DJs from both sides of the pond including Si Begg, Mat the Alien and Bassnectar. Other accolades include a national Canadian award for composition in 2002, and top reviews for his tracks on www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk.

Sharps comes from Western Canada, a land of legendary sound systems and forest parties, and has been involved with the undergound music culture in the area since 1995. Co-owner and manager of Saedos Records, Sharps continues to develop the label, bringing outstanding tracks to the world.

CSY is a London based dance music producer, combining Electro, Techno and House music in an infectious manor.Being housed by hip hop as a youngster, CSY became actively involved in the UK hip hop scene and enjoyed many an Ill Commotion DJing to the Hip Hop hungry crowds. Djing was an important step in shaping the sound CSY now produces, learning what made the dance floor move whilst trying to avoid the obvious club tunes helped train his ear to the sounds he liked which ultimately moved him away from hip hop and into dance music. So even though CSY now has a serious case of the “Techno Bug”, you hear his Hip Hop influences which differentiate his sound from the rest.

London Electronifunk

Barney Spigel – aka Spigelsound / Dubwise / Dr. Spigelfunk – has been producing music and DJing for over ten years. Barney got interested in the concept of music production after first hearing The Prodigy’s The Experience LP and a compilation called 100% Drum & Bass at the age of 13. He started putting ideas together using a cheap Roland GM sound module with Cubase on his PC. He later progressed onto the Macintosh platform using Logic, a hardware sampler and a rack of outboard gear and began compose breakbeat driven music influenced by the likes of The Prodigy, Underworld, DJ Shadow, Roni Size, Goldie and Massive Attack.

At his home studio, Barney has written and produced many tracks in a variety of different styles – including progressive and dubwise drum’n'bass, neo-soul, alternative hip-hop, future funk, dub and film soundtracks – some of which have been licensed for use in a range of TV programmes and one in particular was signed to drum’n'bass legend Marcus Intalex’s Soul:R label, arguably the best in the liquid d’n'b scene. This track – Smash VIP by Amaning & Dubwise – has been played out in clubs all over the planet by some of the world’s top DJs and also featured in the highly acclaimed FabricLive mix CD series on issue 35.

Barney is always working on new material, so expect to see more of his tracks released in the not too distant future. As well as being a music producer, Barney DJs in bars and clubs across London; he runs his own weekly session in Camden called Stir It Up! showcasing new and unsigned talent; he works as a sound & light technician at Soho Theatre and also works in post-production, editing and authoring DVDs.

Martello is a 26 year old Estonian writer and music producer with 8 years experience. He is an electrical engineer by trade, music producing and music itself is his hobby and love.

He began by messing with tracker type programs like ModPlug tracker and similar. 2 years ago he discovered sequencer type programs and currently uses Cubase 4. His music is 100 % software and samples. He loves playing with soft-synths’ different features and feels like crazy scientist in another era!

He sums up his style with 3 simple words – electronic dance music. He most loves deep house, dubstep, old school jungle and also modern dance/club music sounds. All these styles influence his music. When he was 6 years old he found his father’s old broken tape-recorder, got it fixed, and found some old tapes by Whitney Houston. This was Martello gone – the music captured him.

Martello says signing with Mai Plues is his first official milestone. His music has also been broadcast several times on Estonian radio station Radio 2.

After the successful release of “The Mondestrunken E.P.” through Stiff Records back in February, F.Lunaire has been a busy boy, relentlessly playing at packed out shows and firmly making an imprint on the London scene, he has at the same time, been writing and working on his first album, “Chopin Waltz”.

Produced by Aaron Horn (son of Trevor Horn), the album is currently being recorded at Sarm studios, where he and F.Lunaire are moonlighting in the wee hours, whenever studios are empty. Themed on Pierot Lunaire (a character in an opera drawn from a series of French poems), the album builds on the darkly creative spirit and ballad-esque work of the recently released E.P.

F.Lunaire settled in London where he was first weaned into the limelight whilst playing keys with Kid Harpoon. This elusive character is swiftly gaining recognition for his own music. Having played his first public gig with WowoW at The Tate Britain, working with DA gallery, Pat & Trevor, and possessing the ability to seek out a squat party like a squalid-art seeking missile, he has no risk of losing his arty edge. His music however, inspires the feet to move and heart to race of a much broader crowd.

Aaron Audio is a London-based record producer, prorammer, DJ, and CEO of dogbotpublishing music production company.

“I like music, not genres.”

He DJs as Aaron Audio on the east London gig circuit, mixing live with electro, cheese and dubstep – always accessible but still dirty. He has also clocked more than 50 live gigs as one half of multi-tempo dance outfit Honey Weasel, jamming and mixing live with two laptops, an arsenal of samples and a hoard of mad costumes. The pair, more live performers than studio recorders, have also DJed on the British festival circuit, including Glade festival, the Antic Banquet, and this summer hosted the main stage at the Secret Garden Party.

He is also co-producer of the “A.Theory” ambient music project with Alex Preager, crafting a diverse scope of progressive acoustic electronica .

Whether DJing, producing, or creating original tunes, he works with a broad sound pallet drawn from a lifetime of production experience. Over two decades he has developed a unique personal relationship with production processes and production spaces.
“My dad left me alone in the studio when I was four and I managed to ruin all the drum machine programming they had done that day,” he says. “I was always around recording studios, after school and on family holidays, so it didn’t seem like anything special. But then when I was older I realsied the potential of the equipment and studio’s which was unlimted , .”

Norway/London based Discorockers are a modern three piece that fuses electro, dub, dance and punk rock in an innovative and incredibly exciting way.

Since playing Glastonbury festival 2004 it’s been a rollercoaster ride where they have rocked the London club, gig and party circuit for the past year and have headlined Cargo twice. The band members each bring with them their own unique talents from different musical backgrounds:

Viktoria Winge’s inspiring vocal performance is both angelic and at the same time edgy, and she has often been referred to as ‘a blonde björk’. A true bombshell indeed, she is from a famous Theatrical family and has studied at the Khio Kunsthøgskolen theatre school in Oslo. Victoria is one of those one in a million performers you just can’t look away from! (Hence her many international modeling assignments)

The bands Producer, Anton Jawdokimov, on keyboard and beat mixing duties, uses the latest gadgets and gizmos to get his sound and gets his musical background and experience from the UK rave scene, having worked with the likes of Ninjatune and The Future Sound of London to name a few.

These ingredients create a magic and thrilling combination of sounds and visual energy that has to be seen and enjoyed.

Heavily influenced by the London pirate radio scene circa 1995 and his early experience as a sound engineer for jazz concerts and musicals at schools, Eon began dabbling with Drumnbass, Breakbeat and Hiphop, producing on a 486 PC, using Cakewalk , his fathers Akai S2000 sampler and Yamaha TX81Z as the primary sound sources.

As the years passed his skills and equipment grew, and he began DJing at house parties, squat parties & club nights. An ecnouraging moment came in 2004 when he played a set exclusively of music he had written. The overwhelming response gave him the gumption to continue writing and producing in search of the elusive record deal.

Now with ten years experience in the music industry, highlights include plays on XFM, syncs on documentary films and VJ films he was commissioned to create. Eon has a prolific back catalogue of friendly drumnbass & breakbeat

Lush electronic soundscapes and beats from Brighton

Psonikadia has been producing electronica for a number of years. Not one to be pigeonholed, Psonikadia mixes differing styles from pure beat-less enveloping soundscapes to breakbeat, dubstep and everything in between.
Having released on various underground netlabels worldwide, Psonikadia has created quite a buzz, even being tipped for greatness by Radio One’s Rob Da Bank.

After last summers’ signing to Vancouver based label Xynthetic Music, Psonikadia released ‘Minds Without Borders’, a collection of sonic environments from cascading atmospheres and deep ambient backroom breaks, currently Xynthetic’s top selling release.

Inspiration for the pieces comes from the peaceful coastal life in Brighton – the sea, the rolling green hills, the realization of living on an island and the sites and sound of the most special place.

Below is a selection of tracks. More are available on request.

You might have heard them on Radio One, XFM, BBC6, Resonance or The Selector, or perhaps found them in The Sunday Times, DiS, Rough Trade, and even the Daily Mirror! They released their first single with Fierce Panda’s baby label Fandango, and soon are releasing their second single, Revolve, on April 7th, with Alcopop! Records.

They have a headline tour later in March, are Rocking Against Racism in late-April and. In December 2007 recorded their first album at the legendary Hook End manor, since closed.

They did two headline tours, and Huw Stephens brought them to BBC Maida Vale to do their first radio session. Nima had a cold. They toured with Ed Harcourt & Fields, and played shows with Vetiver, Akron Family, Clearlake, Sunshine Underground, James Yorkston, and many other fine people.

This unique band have a signiature sound; it flows, undulates, builds up, cools down, and transports you to a world without a name. Hush the many, heed the few.

The biggest and baddest dubstepz around

High Rankin has always been a man to set a scene with his music. Fond of cinematic intros, often recording himself for dramatic effect, not afraid to work against the grain.

His tracks are full of character; he aims to make records that stand out from the current crop of formulaic beat and bass rendering.

Based in Brighton, High Rankin started ‘Molten Vinyl Recordings’ in 2004 as a platform to release locally produced Drum’n’Bass. In 2006 he started ‘Suicide Watch’ to push a much harder Drum’n’Bass sound. 2008 saw the birth of ‘Suicide Dub’ as a sister label to Suicide Watch – a digital label for the biggest and baddest dubstepz around.

All labels are going strong and released tracks by artists from around the world.
Publishing for all labels is handled by Mai Plues.

DJ, Producer & Writer of 10 years, Hungry Man embraces the open & minimal sound of Sub Bass heavy dubstep. His productions show versatility & creativity, ambient mood setting textures washing over the rhythms. Listen to the hooks mutating, the variety of sounds, the anti-formulaic production style. One to watch.
